Another fun episode. Now, it features Death the Kid with Patty and Liz on a special assignment. I didn’t find this part very funny in the manga, but the anime seemed to compress a lot of comedy in this one in the animation of Liz and her screams. I might as well tag this episode as a Liz episode.
Death the Kid and Patty had their moments too and introduced some facial distortions as well.
It really is hard for me to choose which Meister I like best, not counting the oldies since nobody beats Stein in my list. I’m debating between Death the Kid and Black Star. So far, in the manga, Black Star had more chances of showing his cool moves compared to Kid. But check out Kid’s taijutsu next week, it might end up really awesome in the anime.
But with the weapons, I really like Death Scythe as a weapon and Tsubaki as a person. Tsubaki is on top of my list. Maybe Blair or Marie is more loved by fanboys but Tsubaki is enough for my tastes.
But an occasional view of Patty’s twin hills ain’t bad.
Is it just me, or there is something wrong with the shape formed by the Patty’s rowing trail?
