I am rooting for this anime as the Best Anime of Summer Season 2008. Hopefully it would go beyond the 13-episode cutoff. It may look like another of those romance comedy series but I guess you could say this is a bit special. The situations are not forced, IYKWIM. The plot flows in naturally. Also, the choice of the character types is good. And oh this show offers fanservice in a good way.
THE BOY:
- a guy who is on the same level as Keitaro of Love Hina but it seems he knows better on how to act. and he is good at cooking too. from the start of this anime, everything is going right for him. if he was the superhandsome and atlethic type, he would be the ideal man.
THE GIRL:
-a hot lady but at the same time an innocent lass. she is an akiba-kei, btw.
ON THE BOY’s SIDE:
- a drunkard hot sister
- a slutty sensei homestaying because she is the sister’s best friend
ON THE GIRL’s SIDE:
-a mature little sister who is knowledgeable at sex
-meidos. one is the silent chainsaw klutz combination. the other is a naughty sidekick type.
-a scary father and a mother who scares the father
THE RIVAL:
-there seems no rival for the boy but there is a good girl contender, a hot one too, although she is not given much of screentime. she wears nice panties too. she is good at everything except swimming. not bad for a girlfriend huh.
